How it works

The easiest and most efficient way to get around Ontinyent is by an electric bike.

1. Get started

Choose a subscription (monthly or yearly) and download the app for iPhone or Android.

2. Find an electric bike

Open the app to see the nearest available station. Then select your electric bike
The service operates daily from 06:00 to 23:59.

3. Unlock the electric bike

When you’re near a station, tap “Unlock electric bike” in the app.

Bikes are parked either at:

-
Standard stations with bike racks, or

- Charging stations with docks.

When unlocking an electric bike, the app will notify you from which dock you can take your bike from. That dock will emit a blinking light, alternating between blue and green.
Each ebike has a unique ID and a sticker to help you identify it easily.

Once you start your trip, the app will show the vehicle chosen. For example "ONT076".

4. Ride

Enjoy your ride for up to 30 minutes per trip when on a yearly subscription.
The app tracks your time automatically.
Need more time? Extend your ride for €0.50 per additional 30 minutes.

For a monthly subscription, each trip costs €0.50 for each 30 minutes.

5. Return the bike

You can return the ebike to any station at any time. The app shows nearby available stations. (On-street furniture (signs) on stations, will also show nearby stations, if the one you want is currently full or out of service.)

- At a charging station, chose a dock that emits a blue light, showing that dock is available.

Push the bike firmly into the dock until you hear it click.
The dock light will turn green and you’ll hear a confirmation sound.
The ebike dashboard will turn off.
Wait for return confirmation in the app.

-
At a standard (on-street) station:

Secure the electric bike to the rack using the cable lock.
Then close the rear wheel lock.
You’ll hear a confirmation sound and the ebike dashboard will turn off.
Wait for return confirmation in the app.
