Purchase Terms

1. Scope

These Terms of Purchase govern the economic conditions applicable to the acquisition and use of subscription plans for the Ontinyent public bike-sharing service (the “Service”).

By purchasing a subscription, the user accepts these terms.

2. Subscription Plans

Access to the Service is granted exclusively through an active subscription.

The available plans are:

2.1 Yearly Subscription

  • Price: €15
  • Validity: 12 months from the date of activation
  • The first 30 minutes of each trip are free
  • After the initial 30 minutes:
    • €0.50 is charged for each additional 30-minute period (or fraction thereof)

2.2 Monthly Subscription

  • Price: €5
  • Validity: 30 days from the date of activation
  • €0.50 is charged for each 30-minute period (or fraction thereof) starting from the beginning of the trip

3. Billing Rules

  • Usage time is calculated from bike unlock until correct return and locking
  • Each unlock constitutes a new trip
  • Time is billed in 30-minute increments, with any fraction rounded up
  • Charges for additional use are automatically calculated and applied per trip

4. Payment Terms

  • Subscription fees must be paid in full in advance
  • Payments are made via the app or ontibici.com
  • Usage charges (extra time) are billed automatically through the user’s registered payment method
  • All prices are expressed in euros (€)

5. Renewal

  • Subscriptions may be:
    • Automatically renewed, or
    • Manually renewed by the user
  • The user will be notified prior to any automatic renewal
  • The renewal will apply the current price at the time of renewal

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Users may cancel their subscription at any time
  • Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current subscription period
  • No refunds will be made for unused time

7. Price Modifications

  • Subscription prices and usage fees might be updated occasionally.
  • Any changes will be communicated in advance before taking effect
  • Updated prices will apply to:
    • New subscriptions
    • Renewals

8. Non-Transferability

  • Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable
  • The user may not share, resell, or assign their subscription to third parties

9. Additional Charges

The user may incur additional charges in accordance with the general Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Extended usage beyond included time
  • Failure to properly end a trip
  • Improper parking or use of the bicycle
  • Damage, loss, or theft (as applicable)

10. Acceptance

By completing the purchase of a subscription, the user confirms that they:

  • Have read and understood these Terms of Purchase
  • Accept the applicable pricing and billing conditions
